We've worked with virtually all of the former Temptations over the years, and they are all pretty fabulous. But since we started booking Glenn's group over this last year, we've NEVER received such positive feedback! Glenn, who was the Tempts high tenor lead singer from 1975-83, and recorded 10 albums with the group, has the most talented and easiest to book Tempts Revue there is! The guys are professional and a joy to work with. The choreography is spot-on, and the vocals are amazing. They travel with a full 5 or 8 (with horns) piece backing band. Also note that this show is available as an affordable track show, or even with just Mr. Leonard as a solo performer. Glenn has recently completed recording of a fabulous new solo album, so he is actively looking at booking solo performances world-wide! He also does a fabulous solo gospel show for churches as well. We will work with you to find a configuration to fit ANY budget. We have a lot of options. Throughout several areas of the United States, we can even travel with full sound and production! COUNTRY LEGEND DAVID FRIZZELL The reunion of Frizzell & West is also available
In the realm of country music, not many names stand out more than the last name of Frizzell. Whether it's his brother Lefty (If You've Got The Money Honey, I've Got The Time), the all-time great duo of Frizzell & West, or David as a solo performer the name just rings of country legends.
His career first started in the late 1950s, but his biggest success came in the '80s, 30 years into his career. After several solo hits, he recorded his first number-one country hit, "You're the Reason God Made Oklahoma," a duet with Shelly West. The song won the Country Music Association's Song of the Year and Vocal Duet of the Year awards in 1981 and was featured in Clint Eastwood's film Any Which Way You Can. Frizzell and West also won the Academy of Country Music award for Vocal Duo of the Year in 1981 and 1982.
In 1982, Frizzell hit number-one on the country charts with the solo single, "I'm Gonna Hire a Wino to Decorate Our Home", which was nominated for Song of the Year in the 1982 Grammy Awards. He continued to tour and record with West until 1986. He is currently touring and working on a television tribute to his late brother, Lefty Frizzell. To add your venue to his 2011 tour, call today.
